The School did not have a consistent School Badge during the years at this site.     However, occasionally, a badge of sorts was constructed based on the Nottingham City Badge.    The badge shown is from a Silver enamel broach dated 1922 from the Hall Mark.

Grafitti dating from the 2nd World War on the wood panelling in the Prefects / Senior Boys Room at the top of the North Staircase (formerly the Girls Staircase) at Stanley Road.   Boys leaving the School to enter the Armed Forces in the War years engraved their names on these wood panels.     One panel was headed “RAF”, one “RN” (others were obscured) and names were entered on the appropriate panels.     Significant names appearing on these panels included “R Caulton” (Head Boy & later HP PE & Maths Master) and JA Gilbert (the son of HP Master Llewellyn JE Gilbert) both on the ‘RAF’ panel.    JA Gilbert lost his life during the War when his fighter was involved in a mid-air collision whilst he was  leading a training flight.
